  1. What is required to place an order with Discount Drugs From Canada?
All you need is a valid prescription written by a qualified medical doctor licensed in your state of residence.

  2. How do I place an order?
Ordering is easy. All you need is a valid prescription from your physician. Once you have this, simply complete our simple application order form and fax it to us, along with your original prescription. Upon receipt, your order will be processed and shipped directly to you.

  3. How do I place prescription refill orders?
Our Dispensing fees are included in our prices.

  4. Is it safe to order medications from Discount Drugs From Canada?
Absolutely. It is as safe as having your prescriptions filled at your local pharmacy. The only difference is the price – we’re much less expensive. Your prescription is reviewed by a licensed physician, and once approved, is forwarded to our licensed pharmacy so that it may be filled.

  5. How large a supply of my medication can I buy?
You may only order as much as your physician prescribes for you. Also, all prescription shipments are limited to a maximum 90-day supply per medication. Thus, if your prescription is for a one year supply, we will ship a 90-day supply to you once every three months. Note: It is permissible to issue 100 tab/capsule quantities under this restriction.

  6. Should I tell my doctor that I’m having my prescriptions filled in Canada?
You don’t have to, but we recommend that you do. In fact, you can have them call us if they have any questions.

  7. What are ALL the costs associated with placing an order with Discount Drugs From Canada?
For each order placed, your total charges include the cost of the medications plus shipping and handling fees for each package sent.

  8. How do Canadian drugs compare to drugs from other countries in terms of safety and effectiveness?
The Canadian government has very strict requirements for the manufacturing of medication in Canada. These requirements are very similar to the requirements in many other leading first world nations. In fact, some of the drugs sold in Canada are actually manufactured in the US and repackaged for sale in Canada.

  9. How can I contact Discount Drugs From Canada?
Easy. Our toll-free customer service line is available from 10am-7pm EST, Monday through Friday, and 10am - 1pm EST Saturday, at 1-888-888-9950. You can also email us at sales@discountdrugsfromcanada.com.

  10. Once I place my online prescription order, how long does it take for me to receive my medications?
You should expect to receive your medications within 8-12 business days from the date we receive your order. To avoid delays, please fax all application order forms and original prescriptions to us at 1-888-862-1600.

  11. What’s the difference between generic drugs and brand name drugs?
When a drug company first invents a drug (i.e. Topamax) that company is the only one allowed to make that drug for a certain number of years. After this time period, other companies are allowed to make the same drug. These drugs are called generics. The original drug is called a brand name drug. Brand name drugs and their generics are identical in terms of active ingredients. The generic pills may look different (because they are made by a different company) but inside is exactly the same active ingredient which works in exactly the same way. The difference between brand name drugs and generic drugs is that generics are always less expensive.

  12. What if I can’t find my prescriptions online?
If you can’t find your prescription online, you can call or email us and we’ll see if it or an equivalent substitute is available.

  13. Do you charge a fee to have your licensed Canadian physician review and cosign my prescription?
No, we do not. The only thing we charge you is the cost of the medications and shipping and handling for each package shipped to you.

  14. What do you charge for shipping on prescription and/or non-prescription orders?
We charge a single shipping fee of $12 per package sent to you. All packages arrive by regular Postal Service mail. Please allow 8 to 12 business days delivery for Canadian orders and 14 to 18 business days for international orders from the time we receive your order and prescriptions.
All packages are fully insured against loss or damage. If for some reason you do not receive your package, we will reship your package to you free of charge.

  15. Can I bundle my order with someone else’s order into the same package?
Unfortunately, no. Each package shipped can only contain medications for a single person.

  16. Once I place my online prescription order, can I cancel it?
You can cancel your order so long as it hasn’t yet been sent to our licensed pharmacy to be filled. Once filled, cancellations or refunds will not be possible.

  17. How do you ship my medications to me?
All Canadian orders are shipped using Canada Post’s Xpresspost Shipping Service. Also, Canadian orders can be tracked using a tracking number provided by Canada Post. Contact us for more details.

  18. What happens if my package gets lost or damaged in delivery?
All packages are covered against loss or damage so you don’t ever have to worry about not getting your medications. If your package is lost or damaged, we will resend them to you.

  19. What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Visa and MasterCard.. We also accept bank drafts or international money orders. Personal checks are accepted as well.
Please note that if you are using a credit card to pay for your order, you may experience a fluctuation in the actual amount billed to your credit card compared to the amount shown on your invoice . This fluctuation can be due to credit card company/bank service fees.

  20. When you charge my credit card, do you bill in US dollars or Canadian dollars?
If you’re using Visa or MasterCard, we bill your credit card in US dollars.

  21. Do you charge any sales tax?
No, we don’t charge you any sales tax.

  22. Unfortunately, once a medication has left the pharmacy, it cannot be returned for any reason.

  23. Why do the pills I receive from you look different from the ones I get from my local pharmacy?
Brand name pills normally look different from generic versions, despite the fact that they include the same active ingredient and work in the exact same way. If you order a generic version of your pill medication from us, do not expect it to look exactly like the brand name version that you're used to. Not only that, but in Canada, there are some brand name pills that look a bit different than they do in your own country, even though they contain the same active ingredient and are manufactured by the exact same company. In the case of two different generics of the same drug, they will look different if they are manufactured by two different companies.

  24. What are the names of the companies that manufacture generic drugs in Canada?
The manufacturing of generic drugs in Canada are subject to the same strict approval and regulation as brand name drugs, and are used by millions of Canadians on a daily basis. The manufacturers of these generics include large, well-established and respected companies. Major manufacturers include Apotex, GenPharm, NovoPharm, PharmaScience, Taro, RatioPharm and Sabex.

  25. What's the difference between an initial online prescription order and a refill prescription order?
When placing refill orders, no other information needs to be provided, unless there has been a change in your shipping address, contact information, health, in the strengths or quantities of the medications you're taking, or in your preferred method of payment (in which case, this information needs to be provided). To place your refill order, simply call us toll-free at 1-8888-888-9950 or email us at sales@discountdrugsfromcanada.com. Be sure to provide us with your full name, telephone number and the details of the drugs you want us to refill (i.e. name, strength and quantity).
Once your prescription has expired (1 year from the date it was originally written), it will be necessary to provide us with a copy of a new prescription issued by your doctor in order for us to continue filling your prescription.

  26. How come I can't download your order forms, documents or other promotional offers on your website?
If you are unable to download materials off of our website, it may be because your computer does not have the proper software. The order forms on our website are in both PDF format and in MS Word format. In order to download and properly open these documents, you'll need to have these programs. This may also be the reason why you are having trouble downloading other documents or promotional offers from our website.
To obtain a free copy of Adobe Acrobat Reader so that you may open Adobe PDF files click here. If you are unable to get these programs, please feel free to contact customer service at 1-888-888-9950. A customer service representative would be happy to fax or mail all the materials you need.

  27. What happens if my package gets lost?
Due to rare occurrences with the postal service, unfortunately packages can get lost. This may be due to an incorrect address or postal issues beyond our control. If your order becomes lost in the mail, we will send you a replacement at no charge. However, you will be held liable for the lost package if it is determined that you have provided us with an incorrect mailing address or if you failed to provide us with a winter/summer address.
