Kombiglyze XR Description

Kombiglyze XR may be prescribed to treat type 2 diabetes. This is a combination of Metformin and Saxagliptin in an extended release formula you only need to take once a day, usually before your evening meal. Because it works with your own insulin, Kombiglyze XR is not prescribed for type 1 diabetes or diabetic ketoacidosis, which is a serious complication of diabetes.
