NORITATE CREAM (METRONIDAZOLE)

Noritate Cream Description

There are a great deal of people that are not aware they have rosacea and think they just blush a lot or become flushed easily. Fair-skinned individuals are more likely to show signs of redness, pimples, and the appearance of small blood vessels around the center of their face than someone with darker skin that has rosacea.

Your ‘adult acne’ may be Papulopustular rosacea. It is a common mistake and there is a treatment for it. Ask your doctor for a prescription for Noritate Cream and slow the progression of the symptoms to reduce the risk of the advanced stages of rosacea that can cause rhinophyma, a disfigurement to your nose as the skin thickens.

A Topical Treatment to Reduce Symptoms of Rosacea

The active ingredient in Noritate Cream is Metronidazole, an antibiotic that works as a bactericidal in order to kill the bacteria that cause the inflammation in the follicles on your face. When applied as directed, Noritate Cream is absorbed into your skin cells and works by entering the cells of the bacteria and protozoa and interferes with their genetic material.

The damaged DNA is then unable to form new DNA and the bacteria die. Without the aggravation of bacteria inhabiting the follicles, inflammation is reduced and the acne is cleared away. This treatment may take as long as 2 months or more before you notice any benefits to using Noritate Cream, so be diligent and patient.

Who is Most Likely to Fall Victim to Rosacea?

Risk factors that increase the chance of developing rosacea include being female, having fair skin, especially with sun damage, being over 30, a smoker, or you have a family history of rosacea. There is no cure for rosacea, only treatments that can help diminish the redness and the sooner you are diagnosed, the better.

You may also want to rethink your intake of alcohol, hot drinks and spicy foods, exposure to sunlight, exercises, or the make-up you choose as any of these can trigger an increased blood flow to the surface of your facial skin.

Before You Receive a Noritate Cream Rx

Be aware of any risks of applying Noritate Cream while you are pregnant, trying to become pregnant, or are breast feeding. Tell your doctor about other medical conditions or allergies you have and list any OTC and Rx drugs you currently take or use, including herbal remedies and vitamin or dietary supplements. This will help your doctor determine if Noritate Cream is right for you.

Noritate Cream Proper Use

If you are also using another topical medication, ask your doctor or pharmacist for directions as to which to apply first and how long to wait in between topical products, including make-up. Keep Noritate Cream, and other meds, out of children’s reach and do not share with others. Wash your hands before and after applying Noritate Cream.
