Have you been diagnosed with ocular hypertension or glaucoma? Timoptic Ocudose contains Timolol Maleate, a beta blocker that can reduce the fluid in your eye and thus will lower your eye pressure. Timoptic Ocudose will help prevent vision loss or any other eye problems.
Be sure that your doctor is aware of any other drugs that you are taking or using before you buy Timoptic Ocudose, as other beta blockers, calcium channel blockers, some diabetes medications, quinidine, and theophylline may interact with Timoptic Ocudose. Your pharmacist or your doctor should inform you on how to use the eye drops. Avoid any hand or eye contact with the dropper because any contamination of the dropper could cause an infection in the eye. After you put the eye drops in your eye, you should wait ten minutes before you put in your contact lenses.
When you first use Timoptic Ocudose, you may experience blurry vision, or dry, watery, itchy or red eyes. Some people have problems with drowsiness or dizziness, and your doctor will want to be made aware of any persistent problems before you continue using Timolol Maleate.
TIMOLOL (TYE moe lole) is used in the eye to treat open-angle glaucoma and high pressure in the eye.
