TRIBENZOR - OLMESARTAN MEDOXOMIL/AMLODIPINE/HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE

Tribenzor Description

Surprised to find out your blood pressure is high? Hypertension has few, if any, symptoms and is usually diagnosed during a regular physical exam. Your doctor can prescribe Tribenzor, a combination drug that contains Olmesartan Medoxomil, Amlodipine, and Hydrochlorothiazide, all of which contribute to lowering high blood pressure to avoid your risk of a heart attack, kidney disease, or a stroke.

How These 3 Drugs Work Together to Lower High BP

Olmesartan Medoxomil is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that works by preventing your body from producing the hormone called angiotensin II, resulting in your blood vessels relaxing so your blood flow improves and your heart is not struggling to supply oxygenated blood to your tissues and other organs.

Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker (CCB) that blocks calcium from entering muscle cells that make up your heart and surround your arteries in order to stop the cells from contracting so the pressure in your arteries is reduced.

Hydrochlorothiazide (HCTZ) is a diuretic, or water pill that acts on your kidneys to help eliminate excess salt or sodium from your blood and lower any retained fluid by increasing your urine output. The active ingredients in Tribenzor combine to reduce high blood pressure.

Conditions Treated by Tribenzor

The force of the blood flow in your arteries is enough to cause damage unless you are diagnosed before this can happen. Any damage caused can quickly become a place for plaque to build up which means your heart will struggle to pump blood to the other areas around your body that are depending on it, but the strain may be too much. As the chambers of your heart become stretched to keep up with the demand for blood, they become stiff and thickened. In time, the walls of your heart muscles become weak and are unable to pump as effectively as they should.

Your kidneys may begin to retain fluid and sodium and your body could become congested as your extremities, lungs, and other organs swell up with fluid. Once your body has reached this point, you may be diagnosed with congestive heart failure or damage to your kidneys.

Tribenzor or generic Olmesartan Medoxomil/Amlodipine/Hydrochlorothiazide is not a cure for hypertension, but along with weight loss, smoking cessation, and eating healthier, you can avoid being in this situation. The generic alternative is not manufactured by the company that makes the brand product.

Before You Take Tribenzor

Ask your doctor if Tribenzor is safe to take if you are pregnant, may become pregnant, or are breast feeding. Discuss other medical conditions or allergies you have and advise your physician of all OTC and Rx drugs you are currently taking, including herbal remedies and vitamin or mineral supplements. This will help your doctor in determining if Tribenzor is the best drug for you to take.
